Hard Ripper is an acheological pony who doesn't much care for company. They'd much prefer to be alone with their ancient bones or pots or magical items, tirelessly searching for Equestrian history. She doesn't care much for museums, but some of the things she's dug up have been placed there. Ripper writes about the things she finds, theories about their life or usage, and sometimes about her treks into the wild unknown. Think of them like a much, much dryer Daring Do, a pony who has no need for exagerations or flamboyant adventures. Ripper does his job, and does it well.
Their anti-social behavior makes them a bore at parties, and they're rarely invited to anything. That's fine with him; Ripper would much rather sip a cup of tea while brushing dirt off some old bones.
Despite what many may think of them, Ripper is actually quite the valiant pony. Any attempts at damaging her finds, or other archeological feats of history, will be met with a swift buck to the head- and that wooden leg is heavy. In fact, Hard Ripper is extremely sturdy for a unicorn. She's also a good head taller than most of them. Definitely not the kind of pony you want to get on the bad side of...
Ripper graduated at the top of her class in ancient history, archeology, and palentology, among others. They are extremely well-read and academic-minded, but you wouldn't know it. They hate to talk, and prefer to let their work speak for itself. Ripper's fury is legendary, but no pony has ever actually seen it.
His golden magic is extremely precise, and every action is done with such precision that one would think it were done by a machine.
Although Ripper can't stand other ponies, they have a notable respect for fellow historians and academics.
